CENTRAL ASIA, LATE 15TH/EARLY 16TH CENTURY
Of typical form, the rounded body engraved with elegant floral sprays on hatched ground within hanging medallions with palmettes finials, interspersed with rising medallions with loose quatrefoils and floral sprays, a register of elongated calligraphic cartouches in thuluth script with poetic verses above
11 3/8in. (29cm.) diam.
