Arabic manuscript on paper, 377ff. plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of bold black naskh script, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in white on gold ground within cartouche, text within polychrome-ruled gold frame, with marginal markers in red, or with illuminated medallions, opening, intermediate and final bifolios heavily illuminated in gold and polychrome, recto of f.1 with gold and polychrome illuminated shamsa and two black seal impressions, in stamped gilt and painted morocco binding
