A SOUTH ARABIAN BRONZE INSCRIPTIONAL PLAQUE
CIRCA 1ST-2ND CENTURY A.D.
The plain border extending to pointed corners, with nine lines in raised relief and a tenth line on the lower border, reading: 'Rathadum and his brothers and his sons, the sons of Yashal, have dedicated and set up to Almaqah this plaque in thanks, because he had provided protection (for) his servants...when making a raid,...from capture. And because he had protected his servant from the...that was in the town of Sha-ban, and that he would favour them with pleasing crops from their lands; and their arable fields, and that he would bless them (with) the favour and goodwill of their masters, the sons of Sa'aran;...and for Hananihu, and Bin-nalaw, and Shasiyu, and Shin'am'
