A HUANGHUALI BAITONG-MOUNTED DOCUMENT BOX, XIAOXIANG
18TH CENTURY
The rectangular box is framed by baitong mounts at the corners of both box and cover. The front is set with a lock-plate and ruyi-form clasp. The wood is well-figured.
