The exceptional translucency of the nearly flawless stone of the present bowls has been enhanced by the refined form and the lack of surface decoration, resulting in a fine and understated elegance. These bowls follow the classic shape of their porcelain counterparts, which was an ideal form that complemented the purity of the white jade.
