A VERY RARE AND FINELY CARVED AMBER BRUSH WASHER
18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The brush washer is finely and realistically carved as a large leaf curled around to form the well, which is encircled by numerous other leafy branches bearing peaches and peony. The color is of deep, mottled red and orange tone, and the surface has a soft, shiny polish.
