The knot count is approximately 10V x 10H per cm. sq.

The inscription cartouche reads; farmayesh-e haji muhammad ja’far farshchi which translates as 'Commission of Haji Muhammad Ja’far Farshchi (carpet seller)'. A signed carpet with the same name was sold in these Rooms, 24 April 2012, lot 20.
