The round cups in smooth agate with natural dark veins, the stands of different shape – round for fortune (fu), square for wealth (lu), octagonal for longevity (shou) and treffle for happiness (xi); Shangxia mark, crafted by Shang Xia, Yuan Xiaodi and dated yi wei nian at bottom of each stand.

Fortune: Similar in shape to an ancient granary, round and full, the circular stand symbolizes a multitude of fortune

Wealth: Similar in shape to ancient Chinese square coins, the square stand represents overflowing wealth

Longevity: Similar in shape to the shell of a tortoise, the octagonal stand symbolizes longevity

Happiness: Similar in shape to a floral bloom, the overlapping petals symbolize unending happiness
