OTTOMAN TURKEY, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Rising from a short splayed foot, the slightly flaring body with engraved and punched hanging floral decoration, the domed double-tiered lid decorated with similar floral decoration and a band of interlocking palmettes, a pine cone finial, areas of rubbing to the gilding on the exterior

A closely related pair of tombak covered bowls also attributed to the late 18th century with very similar floral engraved decoration were sold in these Rooms, 9 October 2014, lot 101.
