Surmounted by two bacchantes suspending garlands, the architectural case with circular dial signed 'RAINGO FRES / PARIS' with twin-barrel movement, Brocot escapement and count wheel strike to bell, stamped and inscribed to the reverse '1758' and 'RAINGO-FRERES / Paris', flanked by putti bearing further garlands, on reclining lion supports
