A BRONZE CENSER AND STAND
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The compressed rectangular body stands on four cabriole legs that rises to a short waisted neck and wide flanged rim. The sides are cast with arched handles with open rectangular panels. It rests on a stand with four ruyi-form feet. The base of the censer is cast with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark.
