A BAMBOO LIU QING 'LANDSCAPE' WRIST REST
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
The gently arched surface is carved in the liu qing technique, partially reserving the bamboo skin, to depict fishermen and pavilions nestled in a landscape scene, below pine trees and mountains in the distance. It is inscribed with an inscription followed by the signature Zhang Xihuang and a seal reading Zhang Zong.
