Sel 23) before November 1940 and taken to the German Embassy, Paris; Recovered by the Monuments Fine Arts and Archives Section from Alt Aussee (no. 327); Transferred to the Munich Central Collecting Point, June 26, 1945 (MCCP no. 401); Transferred to The Republic of France, September 19, 1946; Restituted to the heirs of André Seligmann; By descent to the present owner.
