Lot Essay

Claude-Guy Hallé, French (1652–1736). After the original, Reparation faite Louis XIV par le Doge de Gênes, 1715, in Musée national des châteaux de Versailles et de Trianon, France. The decorating workshop of Franz Xavier Thallmaier produced fine quality painting on blanks from a variety of porcelain manufacturers including Hutschenreuther and Berlin (K.P.M.).
