A GEORGE II SILVER COFFEE POT
MARK OF FRANCIS NELME, LONDON, 1739
Tapering cylindrical with ogee fluting, on conforming shaped circular foot, the hinged domed cover also fluted below turned finial, with wood scroll handle, later flat-chased with bands of shell, scroll, fish scale and lattice decoration, also with an engraved coat-of-arms, marked under base and inside cover, also with scratch weight '28 - 17'
