MARK OF FRANCIS LEAKE, LONDON, 1678
Tapering cylindrical on reeded base, the body with broad matted band of punches between upper and lower plain bands, the scroll handle with hinged double-lobed thumbpiece above, stepped flat cover with two circular bands of matte punches, serrated flange at front, prick engraved with initials 'F.B' over 'E.C' on the handle, marked near rim, on handle and on cover, also with accession number and sticker 1970.131.12
