In original wooden, six-bottle cases.
Tasting note: Tawny brick colour with a narrow halo of pale amber. On first impression, the wine is restrained but quickly opens up to reveal sumptuous aromas of molasses and a warm complex nuttiness. The palate displays a wealth of rich mellow butterscotch flavour but flows lightly over the tongue without the slightest heaviness and the crisp acidity gives it a fresh lively finish. A very enjoyable Vintage Port, opulent but discreet, to be discovered slowly as it gradually reveals itself in the glass. For drinking now or within the next year or two.
