The vase is decorated with moulded decoration depicting four figures from the Wu Shuang Pu "Book of Peerless Heroes": Dong Fang Shuo, Sun Ce, Yang Hu, and Dong Xian, each accompanied with a related description. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
