A CELADON JADE 'TWIN DEER' CARVING

The stone is carved and pierced as two recumbent deer side by side, one with its head facing forwards, the other turned sharply backwards, each with a lingzhi branch in its mouth. The jade ranges in tone from a brownish slightly mottled colour to pale celadon.
