A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The snuff bottle is carved in low relief to one side with a blossoming prunus tree. The stone is of a yellowish celadon tone with a large area of mottled russet skin covering one side of the bottle.
2 ¼ in. ( 5.7 cm.) high

The Julia Shackelford Hunter Collection of snuff bottles, acquired 1948-1949.
