A BRONZE 'CARP' PHOENIX-TAIL VASE
17TH CENTURY
The upper and lower sections of the vase are decorated with cartouches enclosing carp swimming amidst rocks and weeds, encircled by stylised lotus blooms with leafy scrolls. The base bears a three-character seal mark, reading Qian Qing Gong, the Hall of Heavenly Purity.
