MAKER'S MARK ‘L.K’, ST PETERSBURG, 1908-1917
Rectangular, with rounded corners, the hinged cover applied with a monogram and a variety of partly enamelled charms, including a sword inscribed in Russian ‘For bravery’ and an enamelled Guard Horse Grenadier helmet, chased with reeded bands terminating in fluted triangles overall, with a cabochon sapphire thumb-piece, marked inside cover and base, also with later Soviet marks
