Of typical form, raised on a malachite base and plinth, with ball feet, the sides of the gilt-bronze body with laurel wreaths and trophies, the front centering a vacant space for a portrait and engraved with the inscription TAGANROG / 19 NOVEMBRE / 1825 and NOTRE ANGE / EST / AU CIEL, surmounted with an eagle finial, the sides of the malachite plinth mounted with the gold cypher of Emperor Alexander I, the front mounted with a plaque engraved with the inscription Père de ses sujets, Il en fut adoré. Pacificateur de l’Europe. Il en fut admiré, apparently unmarked
