Sale room notice
Please note that the attribution for the leading drawing in this lot should read 'Attributed to Giovanni Raffaello Badaracco (Genoa 1645-1717)' and not 'Circle of Domenico Piola (Genoa 1627-1703)' as stated in the printed catalogue.

We are grateful to Dr. Mary Newcome-Schleier for having suggested the attribution to Badaracco and for pointing out that a painting with the same composition, also attributed to Badaracco, was sold at Boetto, Genoa, 21-25 May 2004, lot 164.
