Lot Essay

Anne Lucy was the 2nd daughter of Lieutenant-General Vere Poulett. She married George Nugent Grenville, 2nd Baron Nugent in 1813. There is also an unfinished full-length portrait of the sitter by Sir Thomas Lawrence, P.R.A. (1769-1830).
