Modelled with Cupid, standing blind-folded and choosing a scroll from a dish on an oval marble-topped table, his companion seated on a chair, another putto inscribing a book Pour la plus belle., on a scroll-moulded base, the footed stand with flower-sprays (seated putto with restoration to neck, recumbent putto with restoration to right foot, the stand broken and restuck at one end, minor chips)
