The Meissen swans each naturalistically modelled by J.J. Kändler and P. Reinicke with incised plumage and features picked out in black and iron-red, the Mennecy example modelled on a rockwork base with applied foliage (very minor chipping)
The tallest Meissen example 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high; the Mennecy example 3 in. (7.6 cm.) high
