Third state of De Wit’s map of the Atlantic derived from Theunis Jacobsz ca. 1650. Louis Renard altered the imprint only. The elaborate cartouches were most probably the work of Romein de Hooghe. The sea chart of the coast of New England, the Caribbean Islands and the coast of Venezuela, was first published in Frederick de Wit’s Zee Atlas. Burden 469.
