The first with 27 ¾ in. (70.5 cm.) swamped octagonal sighted barrel fitted with a spring-bayonet, lock with gravitating safety, set triggers, walnut full stock, brass mounts, and original brass-tipped iron ramrod; the second with re-blued 21 in. (53.3 cm.) sighted barrel rifled with three grooves, Queen's proof marks
