TWO FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLES
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1790-1830
The first, 1790-1820, is decorated on one side with three houses below a mountain and a single willow tree on the reverse, the narrow sides are enameled with pink blossoms and clouds on a blue geometric reserve, and the base is marked with an iron-red axe-head. The second bottle, Daoguang seal mark in iron red and of the period (1800-1830), is decorated with Zhong Kui escorting his sister to be married.
2 3/8 and 2 ¼ in. (6 and 5.7 cm.) high, glass and agate stoppers
