TWO 'CHICKEN BONE' JADE SNUFF BOTTLES
1760-1860
The first bottle, 1760-1850, is carved from mottled grey and beige stone in low relief with a pair of ducks, one in flight, the other wading by a stream formed by the grey striation in the stone. The reverse with simple sprays of millet issuing from pierced rockwork. The second bottle, 1760-1860, is carved in the round through the cream and olive-colored stone with two striding dragons amidst clouds.
2 3/8 and 2 ¼ in. (6 and 5.6 cm.) high, glass and jadeite stoppers
