SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 12TH-13TH CENTURY
The bowl is potted with rounded conical sides and covered inside and out with a dark brown glaze splashed in transparent amber glaze that forms a more dense pattern on the interior and ends in an irregular line on the exterior atop a medium-brown slip-glaze above the flat-bottomed ring foot. The rim has a metal mount.
