A WHITE JADE SHAPED RECTANGULAR PENDANT/PLAQUE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
One side of the thick pendant is carved in low relief with two boys, one seated and holding a bi, the reverse with four characters, lian zhu he bi ('a perfect pair'), reserved on a matte ground within a rectangular panel, all within a raised outer border, and with a small loop projecting from the bottom. The semi-translucent stone is of even tone.
