Lot Essay

This medical manual appears to be a dictionary of ailments for each of which a treatment is suggested. It starts with a discussion on fainting (ghasha) and ends with illnesses due to the inflammation of the spleen (amrad al-tahal). This copy was very much used by later scholars as attested by the copious marginal notes in multiple hands throughout the manuscript.
