the No. 1 Type microscope signed on the arm POWELL & LEALAND 170 Euston Road LONDON 1899 the barrel mounted on a horizontal arm with graduated fine focusing screw, the fully mechanical stage with graduated x-y scales, with substage condensor mount with aperture disc and rack pinion adjustment, the limb tilting on a tripod stand, in fitted mahogany case with with additional box of accessories including five objectives, camera lucida, bullseye lens -- with original invoice from James Woolley, Sons & Co., dated April 29th 1899 for £82.2.0
