A PAIR OF HUALI DISPLAY CABINETS, DUOBAOGE
19TH CENTURY
The cabinet is divided into shelves of various shapes and sizes with carved borders, above two drawers carved with dragons. The two doors of the lower section are carved with confronting dragons flying amidst clouds. The whole is raised on square legs joined by a shaped apron carved with writhing dragons.
71 ½ x 33 7/8 x 13 1/8 in. (181.5 x 86.2 x 33.4 cm.)
