A THANGKA DEPICTING SARVABUDDHADAKINI
TIBET, 18TH CENTURY
The female deity is shown trampling in alidhasana on two figures reclining on a lotus base, holding vajra and blood-filled kapala while the khatvanga rests against her shoulder. She is adorned with a skull garland and jewellery and her face has a fierce expression. A flaming halo is behind her and she is flanked by lamas, another dakini and further deities, in a garden landscape.
