A CELADON JADE 'ARCHAISTIC' POURING VESSEL, YI
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The vessel is carved and pierced with a dragon-head handle, the sides are carved with stylised taotie masks and archaistic dragons between flanges in high relief. The stone is of a dark greyish-celadon tone with inclusions and striations.
