AN INSIDE-PAINTED CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLE
20TH CENTURY
The bottle is decorated with two scholars in a pavilion in a mountainous and rocky, river landscape. The reverse is inscribed with a poetic inscription from Junchen Dui, a conversation between Emperor Tang Taizong (reigned 627-650) and his favourite minister Xu Jingzong, dated summer of the yiyou year, signed Zhou Leyuan, with a seal.
