THREE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' DISHES AND A BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' DISH
THE LOTUS DISHES WITH DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850); THE DRAGON DISH WITH A GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The group comprises: three dishes each decorated with four bold lotus flower heads on a leafy scroll, the undersides similarly decorated; a dish decorated with a five-clawed dragon chasing the flaming pearl amongst fire scrolls, the reverse similarly decorated.
The lotus dishes each 7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) diam.
