Lot Essay

With Omega Extract of the Archives confirming production of the present watch on 24 April 1939 and its subsequent delivery to Bulgaria.

The present watch is a perfect example of Omega's Art Deco inspiration distinguished by the geometric guilloché designed case back and its two-tone silvered dial. A similar watch is described and illustrated in "Omega. A Journey Through time" by Marco Richon, p. 97.
