Lot Essay

Les crèches de cette taille en corail de Trapani sont rares. Un exemple assez similaire avec des coquillages fait partie d'une collection privée (Di Natale, loc. cit.) et une autre est conservée au musée national San Martino à Naples (Daneu, loc. cit.). Sotheby's en a vendu une à Londres, le 8 juillet 2005, lot 44 pour 152.727 £.
