Stratum #3 MYCMYK

Stratum #3 MYCMYK is a further exploration work from Sunaryo’s previous series that mainly utilize the base palette of mechanical color reproduction to create powerful works. With this work, Sunaryo further developed his composition by adding a layer of digital photographic print. Coloured resin expressively poured on top of the digital print making a curious dimensional quality as the material’s glossiness retains the trace of fluid state. Stratum #3 MYCMYK capture shifts between solid and liquid, static and dynamic, synthetic and natural, and rooted in the concept of chance.
