LOTS 1271 — 1276PROPERTY FORMERLY IN THE COLLECTION OF MONK FA YINThis collection of quaint Xu Beihong works come from the former collection of Monk Fa Yin. Fa Yin, originally Han Qiguang, is the nephew of renowned ceramics specialist and historian, Han Huaizhen (Ha Wai Toon, 1892-1970). In his youth, Fa Yin followed his uncle to Singapore and studied Chinese paintings. Due to his uncle’s close friendship with artists such as Xu Beihong, Fa Yin’s collection included works from Xu Beihong, Liu Haisu, Zhao Shao’ang, and Yu Youren.
