LOTS 1369 — 1371PROPERTY OF A GENTLEMANThis collection of paintings was acquired in the mid 1990s in Shanghai. The original owner, Wang Shouhua, was from Ninghai, Zhejiang, the hometown of Pan Tianshou. Wang studied art in Hangzhou in the 1950s under Pan Tianshou, Wu Fuzhi and others. He was later chief editor for The Paintings of Pu Hua in the 1970s and was a Fellow of Ningbo Arts Institute.
