LATE MING-EARLY QING PERIOD, 17TH-18TH CENTURY
The figure is finely cast standing on a gilt-lacquered wood ‘dragon-fish’ writhing amidst waves and dressed in loose-fitting robes, which are tied just below the chest, and the face has a serene expression with a gentle smile.
