Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1963 and its subsequent sale on March 12th, 1965. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe invoice for servicing dated February 11th, 2016, and Patek Philippe plastic service slipcase.

Exceedingly rare, the reference 3483 was in production for only a few years, beginning in 1963. The present watch was therefore produced in the first year of production. To the best of our knowledge no more than 500 of this reference were ever produced in stainless steel by which only 13 have ever been identified. The present watch is further enhanced as it has never previously been offered in public and is in remarkable original condition.
