Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with white gold indexes in 1991 and its subsequent sale on July 11th of the same year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe presentation box and outer packaging.

Reference 3998 was in production from 1989 until 2005 and available in all three gold colors and in platinum. Watches manufactured until 1993 are fitted with the 310 SC caliber, like the present timepiece, and are considered the first series for the reference.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.
