"Pour ce qui est de mes travaux de peinture, ils sont principalement en rapport avec mon entreprise de "Topographies". J'entends par là une nouvelle série de "tableaux d'assemblages" représentant des morceaux de sols, petits lieux au pied du mur, etc. [...] Pour cela il faut que préalablement je me constitue une vaste collection d'une soixantaine de grandes toiles peintes, lesquelles j'utiliserai ensuite pour en découper des morceaux et faire mes assemblages."

"Regarding my actual paintings, they are mainly related to my work on "Topographies". I mean a new series of "tableaux d'assemblages (assemblage paintings)" which depict pieces of floor, small spaces at the bottom of walls, etc. [...] To achieve this, I need to work on a collection of sixty large scale painting, which I then will use by cutting them into pieces and make my assemblage."
