The necklace is composed of one hundred and eight amber beads of honey tone spaced with three mottled white and green jadeite 'Buddha's head' beads. The lower part is decorated with a two-part double-gourd jadeite bead (fotouta), a flat oblong jadeite plaque suspending a green jadeite drop, and three strings of coral beads suspending similar gilt-metal-mounted tourmaline drops.
